Galliard Homes

Project Description

Smart Fire UK adds class to exclusive development

An exclusive apartment development in central London has installed fires using the very latest in green fuel.

Galliard Homes Ltd, in a joint venture with Frogmore and C J O Shea, have built 44 apartments at The Chilterns on Paddington Street, which are selling for up to £25million.

The Partners turned to leading heating provider Smart Fire UK to install its latest bio-ethanol fires.

The Partners needed to find a real flame fire solution that required no chimney or flue; a stylish fire that would meet the high standards expected by it’s discerning clients.

Each fire runs off bio-ethanol which is a clean burning fuel sourced from agriculture. The fires can be placed anywhere in a room and do not need a chimney, flue or any other means of fume extraction. The fuel is stored in the device’s internal reservoir meaning there are no pipes or cables required during the installation process.

All the workings of the fire are managed from inside the box so they can simply be installed into a standard frame or inside an existing fireplace. The fires can have a bespoke finish to ensure they are in keeping with the décor of a room, either contemporary or traditional.

The interiors of the apartments at The Chilterns have been designed by world-renowned designer Rabih Hage.
